Tomasz Zięba is a cellist, educator, and former U.S. university professor with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of performance, academia, and international music education.

As Associate Professor of Cello and Chamber Music at Oklahoma City University's Wanda L. Bass School of Music, Tomasz recruited over 60 international students from Europe, Asia, and South America - musicians across diverse instruments, many of whom have since built international careers.

His global career spans solo performances and masterclasses across the United States, Europe, China, and South America, giving him a deep understanding of the diverse needs and challenges facing aspiring musicians worldwide.

Having moved to the United States from Poland in 1993 and personally navigated every stage of the immigration process - from student visa to citizenship - Tomasz understands what international students face better than most.

UnivArtis was born from this experience. A platform built to make higher music education more accessible, transparent, and human - for students, professors, and music institutions worldwide.
